About
This blog is following the design and build process for new home to be constructed in Little Compton, Rhode Island. The home will comply with the rigorous Passive House standard, which is a set of performance criteria that results in an extremely low energy use. Chief among the criteria is a 10-fold reduction in space conditioning energy.
The project is a collaboration between ZeroEnergy Design (ZED) and Aedi Construction. ZED is designing the architectureand mechanical systems while Aedi is the general contractor managing the build portion of the project.

Really nice site. Hope to visit it again soon
Please continue this Blog after you move into the House.
It would be good to know how it works for you and your Family.
Comfortable? Energy Efficient? Any Surprises? I am a native Rhode Islander living in exile in California. I know how cold it can be in Winter and warm and humid in the Summer in the Ocean State.
Good Luck with the Project, Anna
